Voultar which solder suction pump do you use? It sounds like it is electronic? The manual ones are very tedious to use.

My WiiU hasn't fully thrown the error, but last time I ran it I tried to play a Wii Fit workout and the trainer did not load in, causing an unsettling visual of the empty background with the music and no text. My WindWaker HD game also malfunctioned (said all islands were Tingle Island and it also stuttered a few times). It also takes a long time to load anything (even just the main menu). Could this fix work on my Wii U?

I'm having the same issue with my copy of OR that I bought when it came out. It relieves me to know that the save data will survive if I use this method. I now just need to find someone who knows how to do this.

That's interesting. Just one question: does this mod enable the N64 to play both NTSC and PAL games with correct colors? Or is it only about the image quality itself?

If anyone is having trouble getting into the recovery make sure you unplug your USB network adapter (and probably anything else plugged into a USB slot) from the back of the Wii U if you're using one. The recovery will not boot if the network adapter is plugged into one of the USB slots when you try to boot to the recovery (mine wouldn't).

Side note, I notice that the Retrogem doesn't include that serial port bit but I can't find anything online about why it is no longer included...

Totally agree with you about Marshall’s treatment of the community regarding the Ultra HDMI. Pretty much every step of the way he seemed to stumble upon the best way to frustrate and inconvenience every single person who had interest in his product. If he had just an ounce of customer focus he could have massively cleaned up financially with this product. Instead, his anti consumer assholish behaviour led to the birth of multiple competitors and his elimination from the market. Good riddance.

I get a lot of the wiius and it seems like the japan all have parental locks on them. the pi software has a disable parental lock on it and it works

Havent all jitter and problems to do with the case that all analoge consoles dont output perfect 50 or 60Hz? The OSSC just forward the frequency it gets from the analoge console? Like Mike said, its nothing new here. The Morph might think its getting perfect 60Hz but in fact getting 59.97 or something.

If I'll be completely honest I don't think it was neccesary to disassemble the remote, it was only the contacts to be cleaned, it seems it was only the contacts and not other internal components.

Is vinegar also ok for leaking caps?
